Maintenance and Work Orders

Phone jobs have no state. Nobody can say whether a leak is logged, dispatched or actually finished. Field staff invent their own list for the day, and the photo lives on a personal phone.

• Open a reactive job Create job

  Log a one-off work order against company, site, facility and optional asset. Status starts at Logged.

• Move it through a fixed lifecycle Status transition

  Logged, Triaged, Scheduled, Dispatched, In progress, Completed, Verified. Illegal jumps are rejected. Hold and cancel are explicit states.

• Assign a person or a crew Assign job

  Set the technician or crew before dispatch. Field users only see jobs assigned to them.

• Work today's queue in the field Field today

  The technician opens today's list, marks commenced or completed, and cannot see the whole estate.

• Attach evidence on the job Upload evidence

  Photo and notes land on the job or scheduled task while they are still on site, including when the device later syncs.

• Run the scheduled programme Recurring tasks

  Preventative work is generated from a frequency, not remembered. Each occurrence is its own child job the field can close.
