The cold room, the AHU and the hoist live in someone's head or a spreadsheet. When a job is raised, the asset is typed as free text. History walks out with the last technician.

Register the asset on the facility Create asset
Name, group, site and facility. Plant, equipment, building services. Not a floating list.

Keep groups and categories Asset groups
Group similar plant so a site can filter "cold rooms" or "fire equipment" without a new spreadsheet.

When a request becomes a job, the office picks the asset. Later work inherits that history.

Completions, evidence and dates stay on the asset record because the jobs pointed at it.

FacilCore treats the asset as a place jobs attach, not a label someone types. The register sits under the same company, site and facility tree as the work. When a job closes against CR-04, that close is the next line on CR-04. There is no second list to keep honest.
